Custom Machine Building

Design & Build

Show us your machine concept and we will work with you to build it. Designed, manufactured, and assembled under one roof — so the people who drew it are the people who cut it.

“We appreciate a challenge.”
Show us the concept. We'll build the machine.

When you need a new piece of equipment — or an existing one made better — our staff starts by listening carefully to what the job actually requires.

The Process

Concept to Commissioned Machine

Four stages, one building. Nothing is handed to an outside vendor and nothing waits in someone else's queue.

  1. Listen

We start with the problem, not the drawing. What has to happen, at what rate, in what space, and what has already been tried.

  2. Design

Concepts become dimensioned 3D models and shop drawings in SolidWorks and AutoCAD, reviewed with you before a chip is cut.

  3. Manufacture

Components are machined and fabricated on our own floor — eight machining centers and a full fabrication department in the same building.

  4. Assemble

The machine is put together, checked, and handed over as a working piece of equipment rather than a crate of parts.

Why One Shop

Time Is Money, and We Know It

We work to get your job accomplished in a very timely fashion, so that your work can continue. That is easier to promise when nothing leaves the building.

No Handoffs

Design, machining, fabrication, and assembly happen under one roof. There is no vendor to chase and no drawing to re-explain.

Changes Absorbed Early

When the design engineer sits fifty feet from the machinist, a problem found at setup becomes a conversation instead of a change order.

Built to Stay Profitable

The point of a custom machine is the work it enables. We design around your throughput and your budget — not around what is easiest to build.

What We Build

Two Kinds of Project

Most design-build work at Bryan Tool falls into one of these.

A New MachinePurpose-built equipment for a process that no catalogue machine handles. From concept sketch through commissioned assembly.
An Existing Machine, ImprovedEquipment that works but not well enough — re-engineered for more capacity, better reliability, or a new product.
Tooling & FixturesThe jigs and fixtures that make a part repeatable. Often the quiet reason a production run holds tolerance.

Have a Machine in Your Head?

Bring us the concept, however rough. The first conversation costs nothing and usually tells you quickly whether the idea is buildable.
