Electrical & Controls · In-House Division
The electrical brains behind the machines we build.
Every machine we build, rebuild, and set in place has to run — reliably, safely, and under control. That's the job of our in-house Electrical Division: PLC and controls programming, panel building, machine wiring, and the kind of troubleshooting that gets stalled equipment back online.
What the division does
Controls, wiring, and troubleshooting — under one roof
From programming the PLC that runs a retrofitted CNC to wiring the panel that powers a fabricated assembly, our electrical team keeps the current flowing on everything that leaves our floor.
The Electrical Division supports the full shop — machining, fabrication, equipment refurbishing, and millwright installs — with controls engineering, panel work, and electrical repair. When a machine won't run right, ours is the team that finds out why. That work happens here in Broadway and out in the field, wherever the equipment lives.
The short version
Industrial controls, panel building, and machine electrical — backed by 25+ years of hands-on controls and troubleshooting experience and a full 60,000 sq ft machine and fabrication shop behind it.
Capabilities
What we handle
Controls & Automation
PLC and HMI programming, motor controls, VFD setup, and sensor, servo, and drive integration. We build the logic that tells a machine what to do — and make it repeatable run after run.
Machine Controls & CNC Retrofits
Upgrading and retrofitting control systems on the equipment we refurbish — new controls, drives, and operator interfaces that bring older iron back to modern, dependable operation.
Panel Building & Machine Wiring
Control panels built and wired to spec, machine wiring, and power distribution for the assemblies and equipment we fabricate and install — laid out clean and labeled for the people who'll maintain it.
Troubleshooting & Repair
Diagnosing electrical and electronic faults, drive and control repair, and getting stalled equipment back online — in the shop or on-site. Troubleshooting is where our team shines.

Meet the electrical team
Two hands on every controls job
Our Electrical Division runs as a team. Aaron Adams and Brian Garrison work side by side on controls, panel building, machine wiring, and troubleshooting — in the shop and out in the field — and between them they keep the current flowing on everything Bryan Tool builds and services.
Aaron Adams
Aaron is hands-on across the division's day-to-day — controls, panel building, machine wiring, and repair — keeping projects moving on the shop floor and out on-site. He's a core part of how Bryan Tool's electrical work gets done.
Brian Garrison
Brian brings 25+ years in industrial electrical and controls, from steel-mill and large-scale manufacturing environments to the shop floor here. He holds a B.S. in Information Systems and is the team's troubleshooting specialist — the one who works out why something won't run and gets it back in motion.
How we work
From bare machine to running under power
Assess
We look at the machine, the controls, and exactly how it needs to run before anything gets wired.
Design the controls
Control logic, panel layout, and component selection built for the job and the people who'll run it.
Build & wire
Panels built, machines wired, drives and PLCs configured and programmed — clean and labeled.
Test & commission
Everything proven under power before it runs a part — in our shop or on-site at yours.
Credentials
Held to the same standard as the rest of the shop
