Food Processing
Most of the machinery on a food, bottling or packaging line was built in Europe. The spare parts usually still come from there. When the part is months out or no longer made, we make it here.
Spare Parts Without the Wait
Bryan Tool is a 60,000 sq ft machine and fabrication shop in Broadway, Virginia, making parts for manufacturers since 1992. Candy and food processing, bottling and packing have long been on our list of industries served.
The machines on those lines — fillers, cappers, conveyors, packaging equipment — are largely built overseas, most of them in Germany and Italy. They run well for decades. The trouble starts when a part wears out and the builder’s spares department quotes a lead time in months, or tells you the part has been discontinued.
We reverse-engineer that part from the broken one or from a print, machine it here, and inspect it before it ships. The minimum order is one.

Three Ways We Help a Plant
It usually starts with one part that failed. Then it’s the parts that are about to.
Reverse-Engineered Parts
Send the broken part, a print, or both. We measure it, model it and machine it — no OEM drawing required. One piece or a batch.
Wear Parts for Scheduled Maintenance
Plants replace whole sets of wear parts on a maintenance interval, because an hour of downtime costs more than the parts. We make those sets ahead of the shutdown, so the window isn’t waiting on a shipment.
Installation & Machine Moves
Our millwright and rigging crews install, move and align production equipment, whether you’re adding a line or rearranging the floor.
Where the Work Usually Lands
The parts of a food or beverage line that wear, break or change over. If yours isn’t listed, ask anyway.
The Usual Reasons
Different starting points, same answer: make the part here.
The Quote Says Months
The part exists, but it ships from Europe on a schedule you can’t plan production around. We make it domestically and give you a date we can hold.
The Builder Can’t Help
The machine still runs, but the part is no longer made. We remake it from what you have left.
The PM Window Is Coming
You know which parts get replaced and when. Order the set from us and have it on the shelf before the line stops.
Measured Before It Ships
A reverse-engineered part is only useful if it fits the first time. We inspect on a coordinate measuring machine and can send a dimensional report with the parts on request.
See quality control and process documentation for how we handle inspection.
