5 Axis Machining
Five sides of a part, one setup, one fixture. Three five-axis centers on our floor — two of them with four-pallet automation — run by machinists with twenty to thirty years behind them.
Three Linear, Two Rotary
The cutting tool moves along three linear axes and the part rotates on two more — so the tool can approach the work from virtually any direction without anyone re-clamping it.

Five Sides in a Single Setup
Five-axis machining lets us process a wide range of part sizes and shapes that would otherwise need several machines and several setups. Because the tool can reach the work from any angle, five sides of a part are finished without moving it.
That matters for one reason above all others: every time a part is unclamped and re-fixtured, a little accuracy is lost. Removing those transfers removes the error that comes with them — and removes the hours spent building fixtures to enable them.
We handle true 5-axis contour machining for complex components, and we do the whole chain in-house — fixing the machines, programming them, setting up, and producing the parts. Some of our machinists have been doing it for twenty to thirty years.
“Every re-clamp is a chance to lose accuracy. The best fixture is the one you never have to build.”

The advantages compound. Fewer setups means better accuracy, less fixturing, faster cycles, and a better finish — all from the same decision.
No Multi-Station Transfers
Components are completed without moving between stations, so the stack-up error that comes with each transfer never enters the part.
Less Fixture Preparation
Complex fixturing built solely to present a second or third face becomes unnecessary — removing both the cost and the lead time.
Complex Shapes, One Setup
Geometry that would take three operations takes one, which is where the real productivity gain lives.
Shorter Tools, Higher Speeds
Approaching from any angle means shorter cutting tools. Shorter tools deflect less, so we run faster and hold tighter.
Superior Surface Quality
Continuous contour motion and reduced deflection produce a better surface finish straight off the machine.
Everything In-House
We fix the machines, write the programs, run the setups, and make the parts. One team owns the result end to end.
Industries We Machine For
Five-axis work reaches further than any other capability we have.
